JU Faculty attended Community Awareness Workshop
Radio
is one of the most popular, affordable & a easily available medium in India
which provides handful of information and entertainment at the same time.
Recently, at Chandigarh Industrial Area, Ministry of Information &
Broadcasting & Seeking Model Applications for Real Transformation (SMART)
Organization held a Community Radio Awareness workshop from 6th to 8th
January,2020.
JU’s
faculty teacher Pandit Amandeep of Departmentof Journalism & Mass
Communication also attended the event and was the part of the workshop. He was
also the one & only participant from Rajasthan to be represent. The
Director of community radio station, G.S. Kesarwani also guided and gave his
suggestions. Komal Sharma, the moderator of the event beautifully organized and
led the workshop.
On
the last day of the workshop participants were given a task to make their own
imaginary community radio station like radio Sathi, SamajkiAwaz, Sehyog Radio,
Radio for you and also talked about girl education, domestic violence, farmers
and intoxication through their radio station.
