Media Studio of JU is ready now

The studio is made in 2200 squires feet area and amount of 35 lakhs

Jaipur. Media Studio of JECRC University is now ready for daily practices. Now the students of Journalism and Mass Communication Department can make audio bulletins,Video programmes, Documentaries and other Media exercises.The studio is made of 2200 squires feet area and the cast is about 35 lakhs.

Faculty-in-charge of School of Journalism and Mass Communication Mr. Shailendra Pratap Singh Bhati told that “Practice Journalism” is our vision. From his vision, THE MESSAGE daily newspaper and THE VOICE audio bulletin was started. Now Students will learn more in Media Studio. The Studio is divided into two parts, where one is for video and the other is for audio(radio). It was designed by Mr. Ramesh Jangid. The studio comprises of an anchor desk, PCR room, Makeup room and much more.The cameras and the recording equipment are some things currently used for the radio. The main objective behind this was to facilitate the students who want practical exposure. So for them, this is very important to work in a studio where they can record live things and can approach them.

Studio In-charge Mr. Amandeep told that a news bulletin was made out by 2nd-year students last week firstly, a lot of things are in progress here. Some of the equipment is yet to come but studio can be used form today. Architecture Ramesh Jangid shared his experience that the design of the studio is according to the requirement of the map. It consists of glass wool and fabric, the whole studio is soundproof.For making it soundproof we use glass wool in the partition,ply-board,and fabric.

The ceiling, floor,and fall ceiling are also soundproof. We completed the whole project in 3 to 4 months.

Einstein, Gravity and Wonder of Words

The Literary Extravaganza ‘Wonder of Words-2018’ concluded 

with Prof. Lisa Randall’s session

Jaipur. Wonder of Words concluded with an interactive session of an American physicist, scholar

and author Prof. Lisa Randall. She interacted about Gravity, Einstein and her research works.

The moderator of the session was Jayesh Pawar who took the session forward with a brief introduction of Lisa and further questioned her regarding Einstein’s energy formula to which she answered that with further research in the subject we get to know more about it.

When asked about work shown in books ‘Warped Passage’ and ‘Knocking on Heaven’s Door’

which got into New York Times top 100 Notable books list, she answered with a smile that she loves

it when people read her books and like them. 

She educated the students that gravitation is one of the weakest force on Earth. She mentioned that she works because she likes working and not for money or awards. The moderator very efficiently took the session towards the end with a few questions from the audience. With the last session WOW, 2018 ended with a lifetime learning from all the renowned speakers who shared their knowledge and experiences

Quiz on Famous TV Show “FRIENDS”

JU Media Student attended quiz competition

Jaipur. A JU Media student attended the ongoing “Aarohan Fest” of Poornima College organized a “Friends” (F•R•I•E•N•D•S•) TV show quiz on Thursday at the Poornima Group of Institution. The event called on all the fans in Jaipur of the popular sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S. which has been entertaining the young audience for two decades to test who knows more about friends and prove themselves as

the ‘biggest fans of F.R.I.E.N.S. Several teams participated in the inter-college and intra-college competition, each teams consisting of three or four members which had the chance of winning the cash price of Rs. 4000.

The quiz progressed quickly as it started with the buzzer round but then went on to the Bamboozled round in the end which had the team members doing odd tasks while answering questions about the American television show. The questions ranged from asking about the real names of some side characters to asking about the quirky facts of every character revealed on the show.The room was filled with decorations related to the show that every fan cherished and it was a fun experience for all those who had gone there to test their knowledge of the show. As the famous line in the show goes, it ]was indeed something that made everyone there yell out Oh-My- God!

'The Lalit’ hosts an event at JECRC University

Jaipur. Hotel ‘Th Lalit’ hosted an event at JECRC University, Jaipur for the students of Hotel Management. "Th aim of the event was to provide practical experience of the heeld and course they are pursuing.The students prepared various dishes to be sold in their Food Truck including burger and vegetable rolls with various combos.The supervisor of the event was Mr. Munchun. It was filled with
fun and knowledge.Faculties as well as students enjoyed delicious dishes prepared by the students.
Hotel Management students Utsatve Mehra and Hement Yadav were in the Food Truck and served food to the customers. Faculty Manvir Godara told tha during this event student become aware about working culture of 5-star hotels. They knew how to serve in luxury hotels? HOD Sunil Bhargav said that practical knowledge is very important in the study of hotel management.

Celebration of Global Literature in JLF-2018

Journalism Student becomes part of festival in secretariat committee

Jaipur. The much-awaited ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival-2018 programme was finally out on 25 to 29 Jan 2018.Things are really fun at the Jaipur Literature Festival. The

11th edition of the Festival features 200 sessions spanning a multitude of topics, trends, ideas and genres ranging from fiction, Poetry, non-fiction, gender, Environment, Science, History, Liberal arts, Journalism, economics, travel, and cinema.

The programme was a diverse session that includes literary, artistic, and discursive forms and a celebration of perspectives in Indian and global literature. School of Journalism and Mass Communication students Siddharth Sharma become part of this festival as secretariat committee. During this session, the panelist Upinder Singh, Maya Jasno" , and Suhud Trivedi discussed on the issue happen in Gurgaon in which crowd throne stone on the school bus. They did not address the anger of the Rajput Elephant in the nature of the violence, about the different types of violence on which the state’s violence was valid until an incredible audience member was not brought.

That fantastically filmy line couldn’t, alas, entice censor board chief Prasoon Joshi to

make an appearance. Indeed, these past few years, the manhas been such a texture at the festival that he could have helped the harried hacks on the press terrace. Predictably, the sessions featuring Bollywood celebrities were packed:

Anurag Kashyap almost caused a stampede, Nawazuddin’s slot on playing Manto

looked like Dadar Railway station at peak hour; even Soha Ali Khan’s session on the Perils of Celebrity was crowded. When the Bollywood circus moved on, Shashi Tharoor arrived to thrill the crowds as he thundered about the difference between Hinduism and Hindutva. Thankfully, thistime there wasn’t a farrago insight. Although, it was a great and inspiring session and well-groomed by everyone.

Media students conduct Badi Bahas on Padmaavat

An engaging club activity was arranged by students of JECRC University

Jaipur. A panel discussion was organized by School of Journalism and Mass Communication of JECRC University, Jaipur on ‘Padmaavat’ on 3rd February.During this Saturday club activity,

Media Students had a discussion playing the role of BJP spokes person, Congress Spokesperson,

Karni Sena spokesperson and a liberal-democratic  film critic. These roles played by Chirag Sharma,

Priyansh Nahar, Ashwin Solanki and Sadiq Khan respectively. The whole session was moderated by

Chandan Kumar Jangid. At the beginning, faculty member Dr. Amit Sharma introduced the event, speaking about the club activity and its significance. Moderator asked the views to all the panelists that what is “Padmavat” in your mind and what is your stand? Filmmaker Sadiq said that “Padmaavat” is based n historical fiction poem but Karni Sena feels that there is the wrong portrait of Rani Padmini. Karni Sena is extremely violent and protest should be done to the limit. Karni Sena spokes person replied Padmaavat is totally a wrong portrait of history. The third panelist BJP Spokesperson told that Karni Sena gave warning to Sanjay Leela Bhansali that he had played with their history. We are not against any caste. On the other side, Congress spokes-person told that Padmaavat is a movie on history and it should be shown with its originality. It should not be made a big issue nation. Moderator than asked a question to panelist Sadiq that as a filmmaker you have a freedom of expression but there are some limitations also do you think Padmavat is made outreach of this limitation? Sadiq replied that yes,there is a limitation on freedom of expression but this is decided by the court authorities and if CBFC has seen the movie and made five modifications. Then, why the exhibition of “Padmaavat” is not made in four states. Karni Sena representative than added that CBFC only focuses on that there should not be any adult content and children can see the movie but they do not see the movie on historical point. Our demand is that court should make a committee that can decide that this particular movie is related to history and do not mislead history. We do not consider Padmaavat as a fiction it is based on history.

Moderator Chandan Kumar put up his next question that Protest is not a wrong thing to do but there

is a way to do protest as earlier said by Sadiq that the protest was on an impulsive level many buses

were made on # re and many FIRs were also led against Karni Sena. what would you like to say on this? Kalvi told that Nargarh issue was irrelevant and it was a rumor against Karni Sena by its haters

and there is not such FIR against us. The protest was going peacefully but than Deepika Padukone made a statement that any power can’t stop “Padmavat” realize and the elected government of four

states is saying to ban the film and I think this is what all people want.

The panel discussion “Badi Bahas” came to an end by the conclusion that firstly, a  filmmaker has a freedom to speech and expression but they can’t mold the history as they like and secondly, protest against something is good but it should be done in limitations.

Indians have same cultural genetics with different faces

An interactive session with President Dr. D.P. Mishra on ‘National Integration’

Jaipur. School of Journalism and Mass Communication organized a session with President of JECRC University Dr. D.P. Mishra on Tuesday. He acknowledged the students by his golden words on ‘National Integration’.He said, the cultural genetics of Indian is same but every face  differs from each other. According to him, National Integration is the awareness of a common identity among the citizens of the country. It means that though we belong to different castes, religion, regions and we
speak diff erent languages but we recognize the fact that we are allone as we have diversity in unity
not unity in diversity in India. He also emphasized on Rajasthan Culture and Brij Bhasa. He concludes that thinking of Indians are not diff erent from region to region. People can be from
different states but their integrity towards the Nation is same and all languages are integrated. He
also concludes that in a conversation people should be sympathetic to each other. They should
never oppose and confront the other person while in being in conversation.

Dean School of Science Dr. R.N. Prasad acknowledged students about the prospect of the newspaper for the youth. He said that there should be more positive and scientific news in the newspaper of any
state or city. Dean School of Law Dr. Mahesh Koolwal was also present during the session.
In the end, a vote of thanks was given by faculty member Shailendra Pratap Singh. He promised
the delegates to work harder and ended the session with the quote “woods are dark and deep, we
have promised to keep and miles to go before we sleep and miles to go before we sleep”.
