BBC Journalist Prof. Narayan Bareth interacted with JU Journalism Students
Jaipur. A Journalist should always live like a normal person
but his thinking should be wise. As people should be guided by the light of
your words. Media organizations a business but a Journalist should be loyal to
his profession, said BBC Journalist Prof. Narayan Bareth. An interactive
session has been
conducted with him on Thursday in Media Studio. He gives wise
knowledge to the student of School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He
added that Journalism is a profession which touches every field of society. Reading
newspaper make unaware of the society and acknowledge the current affairs and thinking
of the society. He engrossed that knowledge is gained by the expression given
by an individual. He taught that life is a lesson that should be learned by everyone.
He enlightened students by some great philosophers like Gautam Buddha, Greek
Philosopher etc. He gotus to know that in our society the names of the person
is also a reason of caste conflict He added that every person has something,
they own talent which they showcase at a given point in time. He acknowledged
the three keys for a journalist for a good career i.e. firstly knowledge, secondly
language that should be simple and sorted to be understood easily and at last
orientation that includes both the knowledge and language. The duty of a
Journalist should be always to compare different news and relate them. Although
a Journalist should be keen about the words, his words should always motivate,
educate and inform the society. Faculty Mr. Shailendra Singh Bhati welcomed him
in School of Journalism and Mass Communication. At the last, Dr. Amit Sharma given
vote of thanks.
